A saphiret glass bracelet and clip earrings set.  Probably circa 1950's.  Saphiret glass was made in Gablonz (Bohemia) and was very popular in the 19th century.  It was made by adding gold to the glass.  The earlier pieces seem to have more blue in them.  It was very expensive in the second halfof the 19th century and fetches high prices today.  See 'baubles, buttons and beads' by Sibylle Jargstorf - Schiffer.  This bracelet is 8 inches approx.  I have found it hard to photograph this set!
