DESCRIPTION: A vintage Butler and Wilson penguin brooch with black, grey and white glass stones on a white metal base.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A medium sized penguin brooch made by the famous British firm Butler & Wilson. (See my Blog on Manufacturers). Not sure of the date as the only other one I can see at this time says it is 1980s. Very well made and covered with glass stones.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is good. It measures about 2 inches top to bottom and about 1 1/2 inches across. It is also quite a deep brooch – about 1 3/4 inches. The metal is quite thick. A very sturdy brooch. Has the Butler & Wilson mark on the back.
