DESCRIPTION: The official badge of the Friends of Cats Club Paris – deigned by Jean Cocteau and used from 2002. Signed on front Jean Cocteau. Gilt metal.
ADDITIONAL INFOMATION: Jean Cocteau was very fond of cats and designed this brooch as the official ‘The Friends of Cats Club Paris’ badge. Although the badge is marked 1999 I think it was used from 2002. There is lot of info on Google about this piece and it is very collectible.
MEASUREMENTS: It measures about 1 inch across. It has lots of marks. On the front it is marked Jean Cocteau with a star. At the bottom it is marked with the club’s name in French. On the back is a ‘c’ with the date 1999. It has the name Jean Cocteau and A Madeline Flammarion. It is in good condition.
