OUR FIRST YEAR - 1 It has now been a year since Vintage Modes moved to Alfies in Marylebone, central London. Looking back on the year - it has been really hard work but Lola and I are now more settled and like our new shop. Situated near the Rooftop Café and a balcony with daylight - it is so much more pleasant than our shop at Grays Antiques - although of course I did love that shop too! I am continuing working with magazine for photoshoots and have had jewellery in Vogue (Kate Moss) and Tatler - amongst others - in 2019. It is always great when our old customers from Grays turn up in the shop and I hope we will see many more in the coming year.
PHOTOS OF NEW SHOP - 1 I am putting up photos of Alfies and our new shop. You will find these at the bottom of the left hand column under 'Other Info'. Look for the section market Alfies Antiques. More will be added as I take suitable good quality pictures!
Closure of Grays Mews - 1 Many of our customers will now be aware that Grays Mews - the part of Grays Antiques that I am in - closed at the end of May 2018. We have moved to Alfies Antiques in Marylebone - also owned by Bennie Gray. The shop is now open and I hope you will all come for a visit! Unfortunately the telephone number of the shop has changed but my mobile number is staying the same! The new number is 020 7723 3335. A section of the 2nd floor of Afies is being converted into a new Vintage Modes and we have two shops opposite each other - near the café steps. If you have never visited the rooftop café - then I would recommend it!
