A small rectangular green galalith brooch.  (Galalith is an early plastic from the same period as bakelite).  It has painted metal flowers in a panel for decoration.  The panel of flowers is fixed with four metal prongs that go through the galalith and fix on the back.  The brooch clasp is screwed into the galalith - as was typical of the period.  A good example of a 1930's galalith brooch.  The metal flowers are very well done and the painting is largely intact.  The galalith still has a shine and hasn't dried out.  It measures approx 2 x 1/4 inches.
