An Art Deco, channel set, white paste collar necklace in white metal.  In channel set jewellery the glass stones are set between two pieces of metal - which are curved over to hold the stones in place.  There are no claws and they are not stuck in.  Each strip has two different sized tiny beads to provide the curve to go round the neck.  This method of setting stones was widely used in the Art Deco period, both in costume jewellery and in the most expensive jewellery of the day.  This necklace has strips of six stones - and is wider than most.  It is marked with the DoSo mark - a German mark - about which nothing much is known!  I usually have a selection of channel set jewellery but if you are looking for something in particular please let me know.  If you are visiting the shop please e-mail me in case I have other examples at home.
