DESCRIPTION: A very large Antique sash pin/brooch in a gold tone metal with yellow glass stones. Probably Czech.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is an extra large filigree brooch/sash pin from the around beginning of the 20th century. I am not sure if it is an extra large brooch or a sash pin. Sash pins were often in the shape of a buckle – this one is more like a brooch – but rather big to be one! It is plated on brass. The back is one large piece with a fitted edge. Everything is plated on to this back plate. Large amber coloured, faceted glass stones and a variety of other glass stones, leaves, flowers etc. All original – nothing has been replaced.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: Good condition for the age. Clasp works well. Very long pin. Measures approx. 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches.
