Description
An Art Deco period short hat pin/hat flash/cloche pin. It is quite small measuring about 2 inches from tip to end of pin. It would have been worn on an Art Deco hat or beret but people now wear them on jackets etc. or to decorate a plain clutch bag. It is made of strips of blue/green and yellow celluloid. There are two parts which overlap to form the cross-over effect. It is in good condition for the age. I could supply a hat pin end if needed – but it would be a modern one. Currently I have a lot of hat flashes – not all of them can fit into my shop at Alfies Antiques – or get photographed for the web site, so let me know if you are looking for anything in particular.
