DESCRIPTION: A pair of older Askew London vintage clip earrings. On grey metal with pearls, diamante stones and white metal balls.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I am always pleased to get some Askew earrings. Askew is one of the few British firms making costume jewellery that mark their work. Their current work is extremely popular but this pair is vintage and hard to find. These are marked Askew. Askew opened in 1979. These earrings look 1980s but could be later. They have two flat pearls – one pale mauve and the other cream. There are two filigree white metal balls, a light yellow and light blue diamante stone and some aurora borealis stones. They can be worn facing inwards or outwards.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is good for the age. The stones and pearls are O.K. The clips work well and are marked ‘Askew’. They measures about 1 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches.
