DESCRIPTION:A gold tone and red glass stones short necklace from the Art Deco period. c1930s Patterned gilt pieces and rectangular glass stones.
ADDITIONL INFORMATION: Hard to find these simple necklaces in good condition. This one has rectangular gold tone pieces with an S shape cut out. 5 rectangular glass stones are set in a gold tone metal and interspersed between the metal pieces.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is good for the age. The front is better than the back – which has a little discolouration. I do not want to clean it too aggressively in case I take some of the plating off. Please see all pictures. The length various from about 13 1/2 – 16 inches – depending where you fix the clasp on the chain. The clasp works well.
