DESCRIPTION: An early 1939/40s celluloid terrier dog brooch on a chrome bar.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Celluloid dog brooches were popular in the period 1930/1950s – especially scottie dogs. Nice change to get a terrier! Items hanging from a chrome bar were also popular – an Art Deco influence.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is good. the back is a little strangely made but I think original. The diameter of the circle is about 1 1/2 inches.
