DESCRIPTION: A vintage Ciro brooch – probably 1980s – in the original red box. It is on a gold tone metal with a spikey/star design. The outer spikes are gold tone and black enamel and the inner spikes are twisted gold tone.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Ciro were traditionally famous for their pearl and diamante jewellery but later branched out into a variety of materials and styles. This brooch looks to me to be 1980s but I have not been able to check on this.
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: This brooch is in very good condition and the quality is excellent. It is marked on the back ‘Ciro’ which can be seen in the picture of the back. The brooch diameter is 2 inches and the box measures 3 1/2 inches square.
