Description
This is a double row of vintage glass beads with a faux jade clasp. It was probably made in Czech. around the mid 20th century. It has two rows of swirley jade green glass, graduated beads, which are strung on white metal chains. The clasp is white metal and has a piece of jade like, moulded glass, which is claw set. It is in a floral pattern. The clasp works well and the glass piece and beads are not chipped. The necklace is in good condition. I particularly like jewellery with these jade like pieces of glass – they look so good! The shorter row of beads is approx. 18 inches – the crucial measurement. The longer row is about 20 1/2 inches.
