DESCRIPTION: A vintage brooch by Jomaz. A gold tone cat brooch with a diamante collar and black eyes with black pattern on the body.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Mazer brothers set up the Mazer company in about 1927. Joseph Mazer then set up Jomaz in 1946. Mazer closed in the 1950s and Jomaz in 1981.This brooch by Jomaz is quite unusual. The face has triangular shaped black eyes in front of gold tone ears – giving a 3D effect. It has a wide open mouth with whiskers. It is decorated by a diamante collar and black flower shaped pieces on the body. I have not seen a Jomaz brooch quite like it!
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: It is in good condition. The pin works well. It has Mazer on the back. It measures about 2 3/4 inches in length.
