DESCRIPTION: A largish marcasite, cut out design, 935 silver brooch. From around the first part of the 20th century.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This beautiful brooch doesn’t have many marcasite stones but has an elaborate cut out design. Dates from the first part of the 20th century and could be antique. It is stamped 935 which means the manufacturer is saying it is a higher grade than sterling – but as it does not have an official hallmark I cannot guarantee that. MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The condition is good. It measures about 2 3/8 x 1 3/8 inches
