DESCRIPTION: A pair of vintage, Art Deco style, unused Pierre Bex pierced earrings in reds, greens and dark blues, with diamante stones.
ADDITIONAL INFOMATION: Pierre Bex were operational between the years 1969-1980 and were based in France. There is still a web site that details the history etc. They mainly made in Art Nouveau or Art Deco styles. The white metal is covered with a clear resin – to look like older clear enamel. It means the diamante stones do not fall out! There must have been a fair bit of unused stock because it can still be found on the internet. I thought this pair were especially attractive!
MEASUREMENTS AND CONDITION: The tops are lever-backs and work well. They can of course be changed for any sort of top you want to put on them. The earrings are in good condition. They are not marked but have a hang-tag marked ‘Pierre Bex France’.
