A pair of hallmarked - London 1975 - small silver jasper stud earrings made by Wedgewood. Jasper - according to the enclosed leaflet - is a fine-grain stoneware capable of accepting a wide variety of colours. They are small - just over 1/2 inch in diameter and in good condition. They depict a classical scene - apparently a reproduction of an original 18th century original. There is a female figure and a small figure - but I do not know who they are meant to be. The leaflet is very informative and includes tips for caring for the earrings. I have included a plastic stud back - as well as the original silver ones - in case they are preferred for comfort. Ref: 3223 D15/13.
